Yes, director AR Murugadoss wanted to cast Salman Khan in his film instead of Aamir. Ghajini was a remake of AR Murugadoss’s Tamil film of the same name. Pradeep Rawat has played the role of villain in the film. He himself has revealed in an interview that the director wanted to cast Salman in his film.
Pradeep has recently shared details related to Ghajini in an interview given to Siddharth Kanan. Pradeep said- Murugadoss always used to say, I want to make it in Hindi, I want to make it in Hindi. Pradeep also told about the director’s praise for Salman Khan and his desire to cast him in the remake of the film.
Salman was not the right choice
Pradeep told that he did not think that Salman Khan was not fit for this role. He said- Salman gets angry very quickly and AR Murugadoss did not speak in English and Hindi. At that time he didn’t even have any personality.
